Opossum 3-27-13
I noticed the goats staring at something, so I looked towards the direction they were looking and I saw a small opossum making his way to the creek. I ran to the house, grabbed my camera and my dad and I walked out towards him and I took some pictures. Opossums are extremely slow! So I took some good pictures.

This is the snowman my dad and I made yesterday. It was taller than me!

Cuddles 3-26-13
We named her Cuddles because she loves to cuddle! Cuddles is a miniature long haired dachshund. My mom and I were going to get a Yorkie, but the moment we saw Cuddles we had to get her! She and her bother had kennel cough. Her bother had it worse than she did. When we brought Cuddles home Lucy got kennel cough, so both of them had to go to the vet. They are fine now.

Cuddles is now seven years old.
My sister Heather thought that...
My sister Heather thought that her five year old sister (me) would look cute looking like an adult! I do remember this!
Me trying to paint my toe nails. Mom didn't want the nail polish accidentally spilling on the floor so she said to do it outside.
Great job Heather!
Chickens At Farm & Home 3-23-13
Every spring Farm & Home has chicks that can be purchased in the store. I love to see them whenever we are in town. They used to have lots of ducklings, but now it's mainly chicks.
Here are some photos.
These are special ordered chicks. They were the cutest and the softest ones there!
(My ducks were special ordered also.)
This is one of the cages the chicks are put in.
These chicks where put in a metal tub. I got to hold some of them.

Ducks 2013
I wanted to share some pictures I took as my duckling grew and the fun times I had with all six of them! :)
All six ducklings the first day they came!
Flapper.
Left to right:
Daisy, Sweetie, Goose, Splash, Rosie, and Flapper enjoying the heat lamp!
Rosie is the duckling with her moth open!

Flapper and Rosie's first time being outside!
The next day they all came outside! We put them in the dog pen
during the day while the dogs were put up!
Me holding all the ducklings together!
Their first time spending the night in their new coop.
Cleaning themselves after their bath!
I had to start them with a small watering pan I used for the goats, until
they could get in the bigger pool!
When the ducklings were finally old enough, I let them swim in the big pool! I had to teach them how
to get in and out though! LOL!
Sweetie and Daisy 7 weeks old!
Sweetie looking at the camera!
The ducks and goats together in the yard!
The ducks' last time eating together before Goose, Sweetie, Daisy, and Flapper left the next day to their new home.
The ducks taking a bath before they left that day!

Rosie and Splash stayed.

On my birthday I got to see Flapper, Goose, Sweetie, and Daisy swimming in their pond! They remembered me after a month!
I love this picture!
