GOATS!

Today was hoof trimming and picture day with the goats! They are so cute, I can't help but take lots of pictures!

Happy and Lucky are learning how to walk on a leash now. They didn't like it at first, but they are finally starting to get the hang of it now!
*Please ignore the pellets in the backround*

 Lucky is getting horns!

They love to just sit in my lap.

Either Happy is getting really big, or Tilly is just really small!

Lilly's first kids

March, 29th, Lilly gave birth to twins! Since it was my dad's birthday also, we had family visiting! So, the birth was able to be watched by many people. This did not disturb Lilly at all.
The little white doeling was born first and the black and white buckling was born second! Lilly is also a very good mom.

Sadly, the little white doeling named Miracle didn't get enough colostrum and didn't make it. But, Lucky (the black and white buckling) is doing great!

Here the twins are just seconds old!

 Almost 24 hours old.

 Lilly and Lucky.

 5 days old!

Lucky likes to run and hop around while Lilly grazes.

Tilly's first kid

March, 27th, 2014 Tilly gave birth to a beautiful buckling! She is doing a great job taking care of him. The next morning he was hopping and jumping around! He seems to be so happy about everything, so that's why I decided to name him Happy Hooves! Happy for short!

Here was only a few minutes old.

He looks just like his dad!

Almost 24 hours old!

Family picture!

He also has a heart on his back!

Happy seeing his dad for the first time.

Happy loves to run and play with Lucky, while Tilly grazes.

Relaxing!

Katie!

January, 18th we brought home a 6 weeks old, long haired,
chocolate, female, Dachshund. Her name is Katie.

This picture was taken of Katie and I right after we picked her up.

When we got home she got to meet her big sister named Cuddles and rested after a long drive home.

She is about 8 weeks old in this picture.

Winter - 2014

This winter, we had a lot of snow and snowstorms!
Below are some pictures I took throughout the winter.

Splash and Rosie's first experience with snow.
They didn't mind the snow that much.

The goats were not very happy about all the snow!

 Polly being her cute self!

Lilly and Tilly were my sled goats!
They pulled my niece Kaylee around for a while.

 Time for bed!

Buddy walking down one of the paths I scooped for them.

They ducks love their water so much, that even when it's
minus zero degrees out they still continue to swim!

Polly and Molly checking out all the snow.

Another snowstorm!

The poor goats were stuck in their shed all morning because of the snow drifts! They were finally able to get out after I made them another path.

The goat pen before I made a path for them.

The ducks decided they were going to make themselves a pond!
They made it deep enough for them to swim in!
