LUCY

Lucy
12-25-04      9-29-13

Lucy died on October, 29th, 2013.  Lucy had cancer and internal bleeding. The vet said that it didn't look like she was going to make it. Since she was really old, we decided to put her down.  It was the hardest decision I ever had to make!

Since I have always wanted a horse, and never got one, Lucy became my horse! I dressed her up in a play horse saddle and put a halter on her that looked close enough as a bridle to me. I would stack pillows in the living room and make lucy jump over them like a horse! I pretended I was going hunting down the creek with her. I couldn't wait until it snowed, so Lucy and I could run and play in it.
Lucy was my best friend!

Buddy looks like he is singing and Tilly looks like she's mad about it! Haha!

Goats LOVE leaves! I think Fall is their favorite time of the year!

Polly

I have been training Molly and Polly to the rope halter lately. I am planning on
maybe showing one of them in the goat show this summer.

Buddy, I love his beard!

Ducks! November-7th-2013

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love how the trees change color and the ground is covered in leaves! It's perfect weather for walks, bike rides, and taking pictures of your ducks! The morning on November 7th, was beautiful weather! So, I decided to take pictures. I hope you enjoy them!

This is my drake, Splash. (A drake is what a male duck is called).

Splash (back) and Rosie (front) getting a drink.

Looking for some yummy bugs to eat!

 Splash

Taking a bath in their pool!

They're making sure they clean all of those feathers.

The ducks aren't supposed to go to the pond in the front yard, and they know it too! I have a board that they couldn't figure out how to jump over, so it kept them out of the pond. They finally figured out how to go through the garden and get to the pond anyway! Cuddles, my dachshund, will start barking when she sees them. That always lets me know when they are near the pond!

These are my duck egg cartons.
If I ever have a big farm, it's name will be "Lilly & Tilly Farms"!

Rosie fills up the egg cartons quickly!

Thanks for reading!

Videos of the Fainting goats!

This is a video of one of the kids fainting!
They are not actually fainting. Myotonic goats are also known as the Fainting goat! Fainting goats have a genetic disorder called myotonia congenita. When they are startled, the muscles in their legs stiffen, which causes them to fall over. It only last about 10 seconds. It doesn't hurt them either.
It is very funny to watch!

This is another video!

Baby goats!

I recently found out that Lilly and Tilly are not pregnant but very fat! I was really disappointed.  So my parents bought me 2 baby goats! They are so adorable! The kids dam (mother goat) is a Pygmy goat and their sire (father goat) is a Fainting goat. These kids faint a lot! They are 4 months old. . They were just weaned from their mom and sometimes cry a lot. They don't have names yet. I can't think of a names for them. They are starting to get used to their new homes and all the animals around them.

My new violin

My old violin was getting way too small for me. I had it for about 4 years. We found a $1,000 Strad violin on Ebay, that came with $200 case! It was only used for a couple months by somebody else. We won it in a bid of $200! That was a good deal!

The violin and the it's case.

The back of the violin.

Funny pictures of the goats!

His beard is so funny!

This is what happens when I try to take a picture of the goats
standing on their hind legs, while they're trying to get a leaf! Ha ha!

Tilly standing on her hind legs trying to get a leaf!

 She finally got it!
