Dog Toys!

I have been sewing my own dog toys, stuffed with stuffing and squeakers. The dogs liked them, but I wanted to make something other than rectangles.

So, I decided to follow a bone dog toy pattern. I used fleece material, stuffed the toy with stuffing, put squeakers inside, and then sewed it all up!

Then came the test. To see if Cuddles liked it.....

It's Cuddles approved! :)

Here's the link to the bone dog toy pattern:

New post coming soon!

I know it's been a loooong time since I posted on my blog! So, today I decided to catch up on some things I have been meaning to post for awhile now! I'll be posting things like... sewing dog toys, teaching some of the goats to pull a sled, having fun with family and dogs on Christmas, dealing with the ice/snow, training our new puppy, and making things with apples!
I will post all this and more later!

Goats & ducks! December-2-2013

I decided to take pictures of the goats and ducks on December 2nd. I thought
I would share them on my blog today. Be sure to watch the video below!

I took a picture just when Buddy started to shake his head! Haha!

I took the goats across the creek in the back of my house.
I used a PVC pipe to lead them around the yard.

Polly had a hard time getting across!

Splash swimming in the pool by himself.

 Then...
Rosie jumped in. That's when things get crazy!

 Rosie flapping her wings!

 I don't know what they're doing.

LUCY

Lucy
12-25-04      9-29-13

Lucy died on October, 29th, 2013.  Lucy had cancer and internal bleeding. The vet said that it didn't look like she was going to make it. Since she was really old, we decided to put her down.  It was the hardest decision I ever had to make!

Since I have always wanted a horse, and never got one, Lucy became my horse! I dressed her up in a play horse saddle and put a halter on her that looked close enough as a bridle to me. I would stack pillows in the living room and make lucy jump over them like a horse! I pretended I was going hunting down the creek with her. I couldn't wait until it snowed, so Lucy and I could run and play in it.
Lucy was my best friend!
